To celebrate the festival's 15th anniversary, a collection of some of the best acoustic musicians in the world took the Watson Stage on Saturday night of MerleFest 2002 for Doc's 15th Anniversary Jam. The musical collaborations of this jam feature Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, Patty Loveless, Allison Krauss, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Tim O’Brien, Blue Highway, Chris Thile, John Cowan, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, and more. This is simply an outstanding video that captures the magical feeling of Merlefest and roots music performed from the heart.
